Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst II

At VetJobs, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive supply chain support for reviews, analyzing challenges or aspects of the supply management, maintenance, and operations, and automating manual accountability processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for reviews.
  • Analyze challenges or aspects of the supply management, maintenance, and operations.
  • Automate manual accountability processes, including data entry, processing inventory documents, and performing maintenance and administrative adjustment transactions in the government databases and DPAS.
  • Assist with reviewing and managing property custodian DPAS postings and inventory schedules to ensure that all accountability postings and hand receipts are correctly annotated IAW FIAR and PFPA regulations.
  • Complete all required online training for the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) within 30 days of entrance and obtain access to the database to perform property management duties within 45 days.
  • Develop and/or verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct research to resolve property accountability audit recommendations in a timely manner, while fully protecting the Government's interests.
  • Develop logistics strategies and recommend changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule.
  • Assess, manage, and work to reduce risk factors.
  • Enhance workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
  • Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepares reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Logistics field, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Three (3 or more) years of experience in program/project management, financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR), supply chain data analysis expertise, preferably related to the logistics, data analytics, property administration, and fleet management.
  • Have an advanced understanding of Logistics, Warehousing, and Property Management to support PFPA Warehouse systems and infrastructure.
  • Recent experience within last 3-7 years leading, supporting, and providing integrated logistics management support and have managed three or more direct reports.
  • Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Relevant experience producing, leading, integrating, and/or assisting in Asset Management via the approved Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Inventory Management: Review, inventory, redistribution of spares, repair parts, material distribution system management, stock level management.
  • Supply Chain defect management in accordance with DLA Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR).
  • Must have a Secret clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Military experience with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in logistics.
