Dental Assistant Externship Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dental Assistant Extern Coordinator to join our team at Concorde Career College. As a key member of our Academic Affairs Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our students and the quality of our externship programs.
Responsibilities- Achieve a 50% extern to hire rate by developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies.
- Develop new externship sites and partnerships to provide students with diverse and relevant training experiences.
- Assist in the development of student job leads and coordinate the exchange of externship information with the Program Director/Registrar.
- Conduct site visitations, complete site visitation reports, and ensure compliance with Academic Affairs Department policies and guidelines.
- Supervise externship training, coordinate orientation, and review externship evaluations.
- Communicate daily with the Program Director and Graduate Employment Director, and maintain a log of outside activities.
- Promote a team concept within the Academic Affairs Department and maintain professional dress as a representative of the school.
- Meet appropriate teacher qualifications for the state and program.
- Licensure, education, and experience requirements vary by state, campus location, course, and accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Marketing and/or sales experience a plus.
- Current car insurance and valid unrestricted driver's license required.
- Must meet extern site contracts requirements.
