Job Title: Senior Food Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Food Technologist to join our team at Judge Direct Placement. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving food products to meet regulatory standards and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Formulate seasoning blends and flavors to match ingredient statements, nutritional profile specifications, and sensory attributes of target products.
  • Formula Development: Assist in the development of seasoning blends, snack food seasonings, meat seasonings, sauces, and marinades.
  • Customer Support: Provide product development support for customers, including making and shipping samples and following up with customers.
  • Technical Documentation: Type up product specifications and technical documents, as well as develop nutrition facts and product labeling information.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associates or B.S. in Food Science or culinary experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using pH meters, Brix measurements, and viscometers, as well as knowledge in Genesis Nutritional Program.
  • Soft Skills: Strong math and analytical skills, ability to communicate on a professional level with customers, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
