At Judge Direct Placement, we're seeking a skilled Food Technologist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and experience in product development, with a solid understanding of spices and food ingredients.

This role involves researching, developing, and testing new food items, as well as enhancing existing ones to meet regulatory standards and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate seasoning blends and flavors to meet ingredient statements, nutritional profile specifications, and sensory attributes of target products.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide product development support and create customized solutions.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and provide feedback on product quality and acceptability.
  • Assist in the development of nutrition facts and product labeling information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Experience with pH meters, Brix measurements, and viscometers.
  • Proficiency in Genesis Nutritional Program and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
