Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our long-term and post-acute care residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and performing various treatment procedures.
  • Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record processes.
  • Supports CNA Team: Direct the CNA in the timely completion of quality individualized personal care and ensure CNA documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Medication Administration and Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal, from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current LPN licensure in New York State and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
