We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As an LPN in our Long Term Care department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Patient Care and Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and performing various treatment procedures.
- Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record processes.
- Medication Administration and Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal, from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current LPN licensure in New York State and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Competitive Pay: $32.50 per hour.
