Job Title: Principal Digital Verification Engineer/Senior Principal Digital Verification Engineer

At Northrop Grumman, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Digital Verification Engineer/Senior Principal Digital Verification Engineer to join our team in Linthicum, MD or Morrisville, NC. As a key member of our cross-discipline engineering team, you will be responsible for performing functional verification of register transfer level (RTL) code of a complex ASIC at block level and SOC level using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) and SystemVerilog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, participate in reviews, and debug RTL code.
  • Work closely with design and verification engineers to ensure seamless integration of digital verification methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain verification IP (VIP) and verification models.
  • Generate and analyze reports and metrics to ensure coverage and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital verification, with a focus on UVM and SystemVerilog.
  • Strong understanding of digital design and verification principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with data structures, object-oriented programming languages, and concepts.
  • Experience with Verification IP integration and/or development.
  • Experience with a coverage-driven verification methodology from planning through closure.
