Comprehensive Women\u2019s Care, a practice partner of Together Women\u2019s Health (TWH), is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring high-quality ultrasound images that are used in medical diagnoses. They will perform sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets patients courteously and ensures their needs are met
- Reviews patient identification and verifies physician orders
- Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of imaging procedures
- Reviews images, makes initial observations, and documents exceptions from established protocols
- Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and procedures
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Documents patient ultrasound services by completing patient record charting
- Participates in process improvement activities within radiology practice
Requirements:
- Graduate of a certified ultrasound program
- ARDMS certified and in good standing
- MFM trained
- Extensive experience in OB/GYN
- Excellent communication skills
