Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to provide high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages. The selected candidate will be eligible for a competitive sign-on bonus and will be responsible for performing ultrasonic recordings in various areas, including OB/GYN, general abdomen, vascular system, and small parts.
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures, as well as current professional standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing health care-related imaging services to patients
- Performing ultrasonic recordings in various areas
- Working within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist and Ultrasound Training program
- Registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS preferred
- BLS certification required
This is a full-time, day shift position that requires rotation on-call, weekends, and holidays. May be required to work other hours for the effective operation of the department.
