Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit at Baxter Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit.
  • Follow the individualized treatment plan to achieve the highest practicable level of mental and physical well-being for each patient.
  • Continually monitor and maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu for the patient population.
  • Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Arkansas or Compact State Practical License in good standing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience is required. Psychiatric experience is preferred.
  • BLS required. Safetu Care De-Escalation certification required in the first 3 months of employment.
