Job Title: Optometrist

Prairie Band, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing full-scope primary eye care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and document ophthalmic and medical history
  • Perform comprehensive ophthalmic exams
  • Accurately diagnose and treat eye conditions
  • Prescribe eyewear, contact lenses, and medications as needed
  • Order ancillary testing, including imaging studies and laboratory tests
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, such as foreign body removal and papilloma excision
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for ophthalmic surgeries
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical optometrist
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Active, unrestricted optometrist license in a State, District of Columbia, or Territory of the United States
  • References available upon request

Work Schedule: Full-time assignments with 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage.
