Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the technical support of our bearings operations in a lean manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize key mechanical design and manufacturing principles to make decisions impacting product quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Reduce scrap and non-conformances by eliminating waste and variation in all forms.
  • Drive root cause corrective actions to reduce non-conformances.
  • Optimize productivity through efficient, ergonomic, and safe work station and tooling designs.
  • Remain current in new Manufacturing Engineering technology, new manufacturing techniques, and new equipment.
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen events based on VSM Roadmaps.
  • Utilize RBS tools to solve problems and continuously improve.
  • Promote and facilitate the use/establishment of continuous improvement tools.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the lean manufacturing action plans to support achievement of strategy deployment and strategic business growth.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist others in solving problems using problem-solving tools such as DMAIC.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Materials Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of manufacturing and quality engineering.
  • Desired Skills:
    • CNC Programming
    • CAD and drafting knowledge
    • Grinding, assembly knowledge
    • Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Verbal and written communications and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.
    • Ability to adjust to varying priorities and project lists.
