control plans/inspection processesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible
for driving PPAP completion on new products and revisions.
Develop
inspection criteria, control plans, and implement inspection plans.
Monitor
assigned product lines for improvement opportunities.
Responsible
for print reviews and provide necessary feedback for feasibility (DFM).
Troubleshoot
processes with data to support production.
Determine
root cause and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve
efficiency.
Deploy
inspection equipment and train personnel as needed.
Performs
other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+
years Quality Engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering
(or related) with internship experience.
Solid
understanding of GD&T.
Strong
problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Previous
experience OR interest in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). PREFERENCES:
Bachelor's
degree in Engineering
3+
years Quality Engineering experience
2+
years of CNC Machining experience
Experience
leading Six Sigma programs
