Overhead Crane Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Overhead Crane Technician to join our team at Industrial Trade Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the inspection, service, and repair of overhead, revolver, and nuclear cranes.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and modernize industrial equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on installed crane bases.
- Evaluate and recommend repairs to customers.
- Communicate with customers for parts and remote support.
- Work in environments that may require standing, walking, bending, crawling, and working at heights.
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those required by the customer.
- Prepare reports and complete post-job paperwork.
- Travel requirements may be up to 75%.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent vocation/technical training and experience is preferred.
- Strong background in AC and DC motor control systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wire diagrams.
- 2-5 years of previous crane experience preferred.
- Computer skills to include MS Word and Excel.
- Mechanical experience with gear reducers and drive systems preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA codes or regulations.
