Children's Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Children's Program Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children between the ages of 5 and 14 years old, providing a supportive and engaging environment that fosters their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate attendance records, monitor daily activities, and complete related paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Program Planning: Develop and implement engaging activities and programming that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our young participants.
  • Classroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, promoting a sense of structure and routine.
  • Chaperone Services: Accompany children during arrivals, departures, and transitions between activities.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with peers, staff members, floor supervisors, and program directors to ensure seamless execution of programs.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with children, peers, and families in a friendly, patient, and approachable manner.
  • Cultural Competency: Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
  • Time Management: Effective prioritization and organization skills, allowing for smooth execution of daily tasks and responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16-$17 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position requires a minimum commitment of 19 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our program.
