Elementary Education Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at QSAC, Inc.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational support and services to students in various settings. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a passionate community of professionals who share a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities- Education Support: Provide educational programs and behavior interventions to students as required by their IEP/Student Program.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct formal and informal assessments of educational programs and behavior interventions to ensure their effectiveness.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise Teacher's Assistants/Aides and participate in the implementation of educational programs and behavior interventions.
- Communication: Interact and communicate effectively with parents, college interns, professionals, and other interested visitors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following areas: Child Psychology, Child Development, Elementary Education, Nursery-Grade 6 Elementary Education, Special Education (Students w/ Disabilities B-2 or 1-6), or General Education – must have at least 12 credits specific to early childhood within any of these areas.
- Experience: Experience working with Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to run and safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.
- Certifications: Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
The hourly rate for this position is $21-$27 per hour, dictated by level of certifications and experience.
