Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising the activities of team members and ensuring adequate coverage of all areas in the department. The supervisor monitors team member productivity levels, accuracy of exams, and appropriate patient care and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervises team members and coordinates patient flow throughout the department
- Verifies quality of exams and maintains a high level of technical proficiency
- Assists with preparing technical team evaluations and troubleshoots equipment or procedure problems

Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of three years experience, with one year supervisory experience preferred
- BLS required per policy guidelines

Physical Requirements

- Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies
- Must be able to read and understand patient orders and technical materials
