We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide exceptional therapy services to students in educational environments. As a School-Based OT, you will be instrumental in assisting students to enhance their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional capabilities.
- Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to individual assessment outcomes.
- Deliver direct therapy interventions to students requiring occupational therapy support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address students' functional needs.
- Track and document student progress, modifying treatment plans as needed.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing insights on students' objectives and advancements.
- Provide support and strategies to educational staff to promote student engagement and independence.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Texas state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a school-based environment is preferred but not mandatory.
