Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance for complex or unique assignments to design and engineer Plumbing, Piping, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems.
- Apply diversified knowledge of design/mechanical engineering principles and practices to independently make decisions on significant design engineering problems or methods.
- Direct the use of computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment for diverse engineering assignments.
- Normally requires a 4-year mechanical engineering degree and typically 9+ years' related experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).
- Professional registration is required at this level.
- Must be cognizant of the capabilities and limitations of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Must be able to walk job sites, which would include the ability to climb stairs and navigate construction sites. Up to 20% travel by both air and ground.
