Job Summary

Turion Space is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including structural components, thermal management systems, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Project Management: Manage engineering projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for mechanical systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing and developing mechanical systems for aerospace or high-tech industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical system design, structural analysis, thermal management, and mechanical interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with significant experience in aerospace or space technology sectors.
  • Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced mechanical systems design and integration techniques.
