About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Consultant to join our team at Community Autism Services. As a Behavioral Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert-level support to our school-based branch, working closely with our team of Behavioral Consultants to deliver high-quality therapeutic and behavioral services to students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative services to school staff, including teachers, case managers, and paraprofessionals, to support the development of skills and strategies for optimal outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans, working closely with school staff and families to ensure effective implementation and progress monitoring.
  • Supervise and train ABA Instructors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality services are delivered to students.
  • Collaborate with our team of Behavioral Consultants to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Participate in regular on-site supervision and professional development opportunities to ensure ongoing growth and expertise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Requirements
  • BCBA or BCBA-D certification required.
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (MS in ABA preferred).
  • Minimum of two to three years of consultative experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Experience supervising staff and training parents.
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of assessment, reporting (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland, etc.), and Verbal Behavior understanding.
  • A client-first focus.
