Job Title: Clinical Adjunct Faculty in Nursing

Coker University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Adjunct Faculty in Nursing to join our team. As a Clinical Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching in pre-licensure nursing programs and contributing to the mission and strategic priorities of the institution.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical or classroom setting.
  • Provide adequate guidance for students in the clinical setting related to professionalism, practice, and research.
  • Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
  • Promote evidence-based practice.
  • Provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and administration as requested.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare partners and their staff.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the nursing curriculum, policies, and requirements.
  • Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in the area of expertise.
  • Attend all required orientation, training, and faculty meetings.
  • Perform other assignments as designated by the Program Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • Earned master's degree or higher in nursing.
  • Successful teaching and leadership experience in a nursing education program or clinical educator role in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice nursing in South Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in area of expertise.
