Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Electrical Substation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll develop studies, plans, and designs for our electric generation, transmission, distribution, gas, and telecommunication facilities. You'll work independently and collaboratively with our team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement projects that have a moderate financial and operational impact
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions for issues with electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our systems
  • Apply technical knowledge to promote a safe work environment and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 4-7 years of professional engineering experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of engineering designs, principles, and practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering knowledge of electrical substation equipment
  • Experience assessing, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions for issues with electrical equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify equipment and/or procedural improvements to enhance system reliability
