Key Responsibilities of the Lead Software Engineer
  • Design, develop, and oversee robust, secure, scalable, and dynamic solutions on cloud platforms to align with business goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the organization and our clients.
  • Embrace best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline development.
  • Guide the development team through complex technical challenges, resolving systemic issues and identifying reusable patterns.
  • Assess new cloud technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption based on cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions through compliant frameworks.
  • Offer technical leadership in cloud strategy, including architecture, design, and road mapping.
  • Contribute to cost forecasting and management for cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on relevant cloud computing technologies and business trends.
Essential Skills and Experience Required

Must Have:

  • Over 12 years of experience in software development with a proven record of successful project delivery.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud development, with a solid background in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in designing and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms for large dataset analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems in the cloud.
  • Experience with serverless architectures, microservices development, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript).
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and best practices in cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
