About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ASW Analyst/Engineer to join our team at Leidos, where you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of high-fidelity naval simulation and training systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in systems engineering activities for high-fidelity, supercomputing-based acoustic trainers
  • Evaluate and test trainer capabilities to ensure they meet the needs of our naval customers
  • Interact with internal developers, external tactical development team members, US Navy schoolhouse personnel, and military and civilian DoD customers to capture and design trainer requirements
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance
  • Interim Secret security clearance required to begin employment
  • 6+ years of experience obtained through prior related military experience, with specific subject matter expertise in SQQ-89 (ACB13 or newer) Sonar system operations
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and conduct software testing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or background in IT, systems engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Atlassian Products and MS Office products
  • Acoustic Intelligence experience
