Job Opportunity

Vidoori is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, development, and architecture, with experience in integrating software components and systems.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and analyzing comprehensive system architectures
  • Creating and managing detailed system design documents
  • Integrating subsystems and components to form a cohesive system
  • Developing and executing detailed test plans and procedures to ensure system performance and safety
  • Conducting system testing, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support
  • Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development and at least 3-4 years in a software architecture role
  • Extensive experience in software design, development, and architecture
  • Experience with architectural patterns, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., TOGAF, microservices, SOA)
  • Proven experience in integrating software components and systems
  • Experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Ability to create comprehensive architectural blueprints and technical documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and software development frameworks
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, monolithic, SOA)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems

Candidates must be United States citizens and able to work in a hybrid setting with 1-2 days per week on-site in either Hyattsville or Suitland, MD.

Location: Hybrid- Maryland/Washington DC Region
