Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in EP Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting organ or body scans on patients and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity, monitoring protocols and recommending updates as needed.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures, including angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, assisting the Radiologist/PA as needed.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist licensure from the Texas Medical Board required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography.
  • Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
