About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and other designated spaces.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program certification.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
