Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for taking radiologic films and providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take radiologic films and prepare patients for imaging procedures
  • Select exposure factors accurately and prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice
  • Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity
  • Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
