Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Demonstrate clinical skill and cognitive ability in the implementation of therapist-driven protocols, the set up and maintenance of respiratory-related equipment, the administration of medications, and performs invasive procedures.
  • Manage high volumes of workload and remain organized and composed with frequent interruptions.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program offering an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan and credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BCLS certification and at least six months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
