Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at our Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Respiratory Therapist to perform patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical skillset and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Implement therapist-driven protocols and set up and maintain respiratory-related equipment.
  • Administer medications and perform invasive procedures as needed.
  • Manage high volumes of workload and remain organized and composed with frequent interruptions.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program offering an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of level I and level II therapist competency validation requirements.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BCLS certification.
  • At least six months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
