Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Propulsion Design Engineer to own all aspects of propulsion component design from concept to product realization. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with a fast-paced, agile team to design and develop high-performance spacecraft.

Responsibilities
  • Design propulsion system valves and actuators
  • Own all aspects of component design from concept to product realization
  • Layout complex and highly integrated fluid and mechanical systems
  • Generate detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings
  • Perform fluid, thermal, and structural analysis as required
  • Work with the team and external sources to procure materials, fabricate parts, and complete assemblies
  • Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience with flight propulsion components, including cryogenic, high-pressure, and high-performance applications
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience working with fluid, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software with ability to learn new software tools
  • Demonstrated ability in requirements definition, conceptual design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, and testing of hardware
