POSITION SUMMARY
The role necessitates a solid understanding of fundamental accounting concepts and practices. The selected candidate will support functions related to inventory management, cash flow oversight, and the reconciliation of financial statements.
Key duties encompass aiding in the monthly financial closing process, maintaining accounting documentation, and preparing various financial reports and analyses.
PRIMARY DUTIES include, but are not limited to:
1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting framework and general ledger.
2. Assist with routine accounting operations.
3. Reconcile accounts within the general ledger, including subsidiary ledgers. Investigate discrepancies and recommend necessary journal entries.
4. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to detect and examine unusual variances, promptly communicating findings to senior management.
5. Execute intercompany accounting transactions.
6. Engage in the month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
7. Apply accounting standards and implement financial controls to ensure adherence to compliance regulations.
8. Provide necessary documentation for audits and liaise with internal and external audit teams to promote best practices.
9. Assist in managing lease accounting protocols in collaboration with Corporate Accounting, utilizing lease management software and coordinating with operational teams.
