Senior Accountant Role Overview
Graham Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to perform a range of accounting activities, including maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and providing key management reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting activities, including journal entry preparation and posting, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Prepare month-end financial reports for multiple entities, including general ledger account reconciliation and analysis.
- Reconcile deposits between the general ledger and account receivable subledger, and maintain vendors in the general ledger system.
- Ensure company credit card compliance with company policies, and assist with company T&E system administration and updates.
- Work within the regulated guidelines of internal Sarbanes-Oxley processes and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in Medicare Cost reporting and healthcare finance.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
