Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Services Custodian to join our team at Concordia College. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including drinking fountains, sinks, urinals, and toilets, and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Wash windows, mirrors, and walls, and empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
  • Replace lights and identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
  • Assist in snow and ice removal using ice melt, snow blowers, and shoveling.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
