Position Overview:
The RN in Cardiac Rehabilitation will play a vital role within our Wellness Center, engaging in both inpatient and outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation programs. This position emphasizes a collaborative team approach to patient education, guiding both individuals and groups through exercise programs, while actively promoting our Wellness Programs to healthcare providers and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage emergency medical situations as a team leader.
- Innovate Wellness program design and development, ensuring direct client care and thorough assessments.
- Conduct walk studies and set measurable goals for patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and address any issues that arise.
- Advocate for cultural change in healthcare, focusing on Wellness and Prevention.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Preferred candidates will have experience in telemetry-monitored settings, with at least two years of hospital experience caring for cardiac and/or pulmonary patients. Proficiency in cardiac rhythm recognition is essential.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an associate or bachelor’s degree is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Certifications:
Current BLS, AED, and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Candidates must also pass a telemetry competency assessment upon hire and annually thereafter.
