Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Petroleum Service Technician to join our team at Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fuel dispensers and its components
  • Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade POS software
  • Work with PCs and load software
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of parts inventory
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required
  • Install, program, and test new equipment
  • Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in common terms
  • Present self in a professional manner and arrive promptly to service calls

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a petroleum service technician
  • Certification in Gilbarco or Wayne dispenser service
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Willingness to learn terminology and processes of the industry
  • High level of attention to detail and urgency
  • Able to climb, lift 50lbs, and pass the DOT physical exam
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required

Working Conditions:

  • Able to lift 60 pounds
  • Position requires stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing of ladders
  • Sound integrity and professional ethics
  • Experience with internet maps and dispatch software
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and employees
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete projects on time

Work Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday
