Job Overview

Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our service and repair team, you will assist the Master Electrician in maintaining and repairing fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, installation, and start-up procedures.
  • Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task.
  • Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines.
  • Protect the property of the company and customer by all reasonable means.
  • Monitor and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory.
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
  • Install, program, and test new equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Present self professionally and be prompt when making service calls.

Requirements

  • Hold or be able to obtain journeyman electrician license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and electronic/mechanical abilities.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Position requires lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing of ladders.
  • Sound integrity and professional ethics.
  • Organized and able to complete projects on time.
