Program Description:
The Hoomau Home Visiting initiative is designed to assist parents in fostering a nurturing atmosphere for their young children. Families on Oahu are invited to engage in this program to enhance maternal and child health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to families with young children
- Develop Family Service Plans tailored to individual needs
- Administer developmental screenings and assessments
- Facilitate connections to community resources
- Implement outreach initiatives to engage families
- Maintain collaborative relationships with partners and service providers
Essential Qualifications:
A High School Diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with young children or parents are required.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- No-fault insurance coverage
- Successful completion of required background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
