SSM Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the assessment and care of patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care and follow-up care.
- Work in a safe and alert manner, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
- No experience required, but a strong desire to provide excellent patient care.
- Constant use of speech to communicate with patients and staff.
- Constant standing and walking, with frequent sitting and keyboard use.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Illinois or other compact states.
