About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. As a Civil Engineer - Roadways, you will work on small and large projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, developing skills in evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use knowledge of civil engineering elements to design roadways, drainage, and grading.
  • Perform civil engineering design tasks on assigned transportation roadway projects.
  • Assist in preparing engineering calculations, project documents, and reports.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives.
  • Recognize and address technical problems, and train less experienced team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with PennDOT or the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
  • Proficient in Microstation and relevant software programs.
