Job Title: Data Engineer

At Tata Consultancy Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data processing systems using AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like PySpark and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics solutions with business applications.
  • Work with vendors to enhance tool capabilities and meet enterprise needs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, and IAM.
  • Design and implement data streaming and real-time analytics solutions using Spark and Databricks.
  • Develop and maintain CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in PySpark/Databricks development.
  • Knowledge in Terraform, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, Node JS, and Glue ETL.
  • CICD experience using tools like Git and Jenkins.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Spark and real-time analytics frameworks, data streaming, and structured streaming.
  • Knowledge in Databricks reporting.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python and PySpark.
  • Hands-on experience integrating open-source components into data-analytic solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus.
