Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team at Central Maine Healthcare. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our clinical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health status and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Perform physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of your practice
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, test results, and preventative care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Unencumbered license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and certified by the NCCPA
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • Experience in Occupational Health and emergency department or urgent care settings preferred
