About the Role

As an Appliance Repair Technician at Mr. Appliance, you will be responsible for installing and repairing home appliances and equipment. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service while ensuring the efficient use of materials and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Home Appliances/Equipment: Safely and efficiently install various home appliances and equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Accurately Diagnose and Repair Appliances/Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose issues with appliances and equipment, and perform repairs using the necessary tools and expertise.
  • Provide Cost Estimates and Collect Payment: Prepare and present cost estimates to customers, collect payment or payment information, and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Maintain Company Vehicles and Equipment: Regularly service and maintain company vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Complete Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required by the company.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also be physically fit and able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
