Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to patients, including ventilator management and emergency room technician duties.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care data, interventions, and outcomes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform point-of-care laboratory testing and document patient care data accurately.
  • Assist registered nurses and licensed independent practitioners in providing patient care activities as directed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
  • Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care.
