Position Overview

MultiCare Health System is in search of a Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing immediate support and evaluation for individuals facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional health of clients.
  • Develop and implement safety plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems.
  • Facilitate referrals for individuals struggling with substance use issues.
  • Coordinate ongoing psychiatric care for patients who require inpatient treatment.
  • Engage with the Designated Crisis Responder for necessary involuntary evaluations.
  • Represent MultiCare Health System and its Behavioral Healthcare services in community outreach efforts.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Must meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional as outlined in HB 1724.
  • Prior experience in crisis intervention is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Washington state driver's license with a clean driving record.
