Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of a seasonal store. This includes staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in staffing, including interviewing, hiring, and training of store employees.
  • Assist with the setup and merchandising of the store, including visual displays and inventory management.
  • Help with the pack-up and teardown of the store at the end of each season.
  • Assist with controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Flexible schedule required.
  • Prior retail management experience is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
