**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profits through effective merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining a highly motivated team by hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Promote Company Culture**: Promote and uphold the company's mission, values, and culture.
  • **Sales and Profitability**: Drive sales and profits through effective merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
  • **Team Management**: Maintain a highly motivated team by hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.
  • **Store Operations**: Ensure the store is operating efficiently and effectively, including scheduling and assigning team members, following up on work results, and providing feedback to the office.
  • **Financial Management**: Achieve financial objectives by assisting in the preparation of an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • **Customer Service**: Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
  • **Community Involvement**: Establish relationships and support local community groups consistent with company values.
  • **Inventory Management**: Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts, maintaining inventories, and managing and protecting all inventory and company assets.
  • **Safety and Security**: Protect employees and customers and maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements and providing a safe and clean store environment.

**Requirements**

  • **Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills**: Demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage with limited supervision.
  • **Communication Skills**: Possess good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and other associates.
  • **Hiring and Firing**: Be comfortable in the hiring and firing of team members.
  • **Customer Service**: Understand aggressive customer service and be team-oriented.
  • **Management and Organizational Skills**: Possess good management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Physical Demands**: Be able to stand for extended periods, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • **Flexibility**: Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
