Job Title: Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

Sawbrook Steel Casting LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and facilities through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Basic Troubleshooting and Repairs: Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of machinery to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels.
  • Execute Maintenance Activities: Execute tear-downs and rebuilds of machinery as needed for maintenance or upgrades, and implement Lockout/Tagout procedures to maintain safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
  • Record Maintenance Activities: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
  • Assist with Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Maintenance Operations: Proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and hand tool operations, as well as knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
  • Comfort Working at Heights: Comfort working at heights of up to 150 feet.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience operating overhead cranes and in manufacturing environments is preferred.

  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and kneel as necessary, and capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to fifty pounds individually, and up to one hundred pounds with team lifting.
  • Vision Requirements: Must possess adequate vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
  • Work Environment: The work environment is not climate-controlled and may involve exposure to foundry conditions.
