We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at American Indian Health & Services. As a Family Practice Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Render diagnostic treatment, consultation, referral, and emergency services to patients, maintaining a productivity rate of 3 patients per hour.
- Develop, review, and update medical protocols in conjunction with medical staff.
- Ensure continuity of patient care, referrals for specialty care, patient placement, and utilization of community resources.
- Assist the medical director in maintaining, reviewing, and updating medical policies and procedures.
- Participate in committees such as Quality Management committees.
- Maintain all required licensing and certification in good standing.
- Provide in-service education to staff as needed.
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record system of AIHS.
- Strive to meet the requirements of NCQA PCMH Level 3.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California.
- Prefer Board Certification.
- Prefer experience in a community health care setting.
- 14 paid holidays per year.
- 6.5 hours per pay period of accrued PTO.
